- About
- Lumay Cafe is the newest food spot in La Carlota City. What makes the cafe interesting is the name itself. “Lumay” is a word taken from a local dialect which means love potion. The owner, on the other hand, defines “lumay” as an individual’s positive character or natural charisma that is liked or admired by others. The cafe is built from bamboo and nipa which makes the atmosphere more cooler and relaxing. They serve budget-friendly meals like breakfast meals, chicken teriyaki, lumay egg ham, chicken pesto, nachos, Mexican ham and cheese, and banana cake. Lumay Cafe also serves brewed coffee, frappes and fresh sugarcane juice – their must-try thirst quencher which only costs Php 35.00. Affordable and delicious, the foods are packed in one and these make food hunters keep on coming back to Lumay Cafe.
- How to get there
- Lumay Cafe is conveniently located at Yunque Street. From La Carlota Ceres Bus Terminal, ride a trike and tell the driver to drop you off at Lumay Cafe. Estimated time travel is 2-3 minutes. Trike fare is Php 9.00. Landmark: near La Carlota City public plaza, beside Lai Hock Marketing, in front of Department of General Services – La Carlota City.
