- A castle-like experience is waiting for you at Kampana Cafe! This castle that was built by Don Esteban Guanzon way back in the 1970s has now opened its doors to the public as Kampana Cafe. The place is loaded with antique designs and pieces of furniture. It is surrounded by statues and miniatures that add up to the inviting look of the cafe. Kids will definitely love this place! Nevertheless, Kampana Cafe is not just for your eyes – it’s for your tummy too! Various selection of menus is available in the place from tasty snacks to big meals. They serve chicken satay, classic burgers, Kampana Calamari, stir-fried pork, Don Esteban fried chicken and more. Drinks to try are black coffee, soft drinks, local beer, and wine. All are at a reasonable price. Entrance to the castle is free for diners.
- How to get there:
- By public transport: Kampana Cafe is located along Alijis-Murcia road. From Bacolod City, just get to Libertad Market. You can take either Murcia jeepney or Mambukal bus. Look for Murcia terminal near Bakers Libertad or Mambukal Terminal located in front of Savemore. Tell the driver that you’ll go down at Kampana Cafe. After passing Guanzon Cockpit Arena, the cafe will be 1.8km away at the left side.
- By private car: If you have a private vehicle, get to Coca Cola Plant either Alijis or Mansilingan Libertad road. From Coca Cola Plant, go straight ahead Kampana Cafe is on the left side, 1.8km away.
